Ditto. I also have hypothyroidism and have been on medication for almost 10 years. I started with thyroiditis, which had all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism but after the thyroiditis resolved, slowly my thyroid slowed down and resulted in permanent hypothyroid. I have been hypothyroid a lot longer than I have had ET so I've never experienced any confusion over the symptoms when my thyroid is "off" or the ET. For what it's worth, thyroid issues are very common in women (especially over 40), relatively easy to treat without side effects, and often remains stable once you are on the correct dosage. Take care, Ro.
