Hi JulieG,

Thanks for the info! When my dermatitis was at its worst (about 2 yrs ago) it was unbearably itchy. My "primary care physician" prescribed an antihistamine and it helped greatly with the itch, so I think that fits in perfectly with what you said about ET causing histamine levels to rise. If I am super sensitive/allergic to some ingredients in the body care products I was using, then the elevated histamine level due to ET might have increased that reaction. Thanks so much. It helps to have some sort of working theory about this, esp. when it has stumped 2 dermatologists and several other doctors.

All the symptoms that seem connected to the dermatitis have been slowly improving over the last 2 yrs. Actually, it's remarkable how different I feel. I wonder how long I've been sensitive to what I've put on my body. Have I been toxic for years and am observing my body detoxify?

Thanks again for your info!
