Toni, try the neti pot - it flushes out the sinuses. I too had almost all of the symptoms related to candida and I had noted that I could not tolerate sugar, breads, alcohol, or high carbohydrate foods before I came across information on the candida diet. I bought a book called 'The Yeast Connection' and everything made sense. Yes, the diet can be difficult to follow but at some stage I got tired of getting sick again every time I cheated and I stuck with it. I followed the diet, took natural antifungals, and took probiotics (and ate probiotic foods). What does your tongue look like? It should be a healthy pink color. If it is whitish, that is a sign of fungal overgrowth. Here are some photographs of what the tongue should and shouldn't look like. (This website is that of a father who recovered his autistic son in part by treating fungal overgrowth). He has information on the candida diet, etc.:

You can scrape your tongue to see if a white film comes up (I use a tongue scraper but you can use anything that would allow you to see the film - plastic spoon, whatever). A Mayo Clinic study showed that most cases of chronic sinusitis are actually caused by fungus, not bacteria. Here is the article:
