Wonderful Toni. Could you replace the coffee with tea? Green tea and teas which are antifungal (pau d'arco and goldenseal). That would help prevent a caffeine withdrawal headache and fight candida. If you can handle eating a small clove of raw garlic twice a day - that is very antifungal (you can crush it and put it in some water and swallow it to avoid bad breath - it has to be crushed to release the allicin). And raw apple cider vinegar (unpasteurized) is great. I think tomatoes are fine on the diet if you are not allergic. And besides avoiding sugars and breads, one of the best things you can do is to eat probiotic foods. Look up the Body Ecology diet. Incorporating cultured foods helps so much.

That is a lot of fillings Toni since mercury causes candida. If removal is not an option, you should still be able see a great deal of improvement by maintaining the diet (if, in fact, your symptoms are candida related).
