toni.....you can buy miso in a container in the refrigerator section and make your own miso soup...just a couple of tablespoons to water, heat it and then you can add onions, scallions and can turn into a french onion soup...soooooooooo good(cook the onions for about twenty minutes, then add miso).i prefer the low sodium miso....its the processed foods, the white sugar, the bleached flours that created a nation of obesity and an array of diseases. a big plus for our health is wheatgrass and barley grass....it can be in powdered,tablets or fresh. its is very healing and packed with wonderful nutrients... google it and see what i mean...take good care all. barbara
