Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed in 97 and since then have taken Hydroxyurea. Has anyone had any problems with their kidney function. I have suffered with renal colic since about 99 and now have a stent fitted into my right kidney. I have read that taking Hydroxyurea on a long term basis results in kidney problems. I take 6x500mg per day which is a high dose and I worry about the long term affect that this is doing to me. Any help would be appreciated.
